Daily Trip Report - March 15, 2004

Prof. Perritt -
I had good meetings today with Besim Beqaj and KTA staff. This afternoon, among other things, I met with the head of the local Soros operation to talk about support for C-K and other IIT students to provide technical assistance to working groups on standards. At the end of the day, I met with Bahri Shabani, head of Kosovar trade unions to discuss, among other things, the possibility of C-K labor-law students providing technical support for handling cases on behalf of employees. He was very enthusiastic, and I promised to have Prof. Malin follow up with him.

I gave out tourism packages to everyone, and they are very impressed.
