Daily Trip Report - July 19, 2003 Jill
Wechsler - Today we
spent the whole day on a driving tour of Kosova. At 10:00 in the morning,
Nicole, Professor Perritt and I set out with Dastid, Professor Murati,
and Mark Miller. We visited the former home of the Jashari family, which
the Kosovars are setting up as a memorial to the family that played a
key role in the KLA's fight against the Serbs. Many members of the family
were killed defending the complex and are now honored as heroes. |
