Daily Trip Report - July 19, 2003

Jill Wechsler -

Today we spent the whole day on a driving tour of Kosova. At 10:00 in the morning, Nicole, Professor Perritt and I set out with Dastid, Professor Murati, and Mark Miller. We visited the former home of the Jashari family, which the Kosovars are setting up as a memorial to the family that played a key role in the KLA's fight against the Serbs. Many members of the family were killed defending the complex and are now honored as heroes.
We also visited Peja...

The power just went out at the Internet café... Twice... so I'm just going to send what I've got so far. Bye!

Spent the rest of day traveling around Kosova.
